I love finding data points that show just how much social media has changed our lives over the past decade or so, and this is a good one: 80% of renters today use social media during their apartment search (MRIsoftware), compared to just 5% in 2012 (J Turner Research).
Just as you’d look up a restaurant for photos of the menu, people are turning to Instagram to help them make the very big decision of where to live. And with fierce competition between luxury apartment communities - it seems everyone has amazing amenities these days, doesn’t it?- a strong social media marketing strategy could make a huge difference in the success and speed of lease-up.Â
Here are a few ways we make that difference for our multifamily clients:
- A strong first impression: Many apartment community social media feeds are riddled with ugly flyers and blurry photos and lack a cohesive vibe that makes people think, “Wow, I want to live there!” We work with our clients to create beautiful social media feeds with not only branded creative and great photography, but also Reels that show off the best aspects of the property and leave people with a great first impression.
