Caroline Gold
Vice President
As a vice president, Caroline works closely with clients and also leads our fellowship and training programs. Caroline is known for her writing chops and ability to quickly learn about a new client’s industry, no matter how complex.
Her favorite part of the job, she says, is using critical thinking to discover and tell exciting stories. Put another way, she says, “I love mining for gold. I enjoy the challenge of uncovering what’s newsworthy and interesting for all my clients, especially when it’s not obvious.”
Caroline helped develop our fellowship program, an immersive six-month internship for recent college graduates, many of whom ultimately are hired into permanent positions at Wilbert. When asked what makes her proud, she says, “The opportunities and experiences we’ve been able to provide a lot of talented young people at the start of their careers.” She also says she is proud of her own journey and professional growth since joining Wilbert in 2017.
Caroline serves on the Alliance Theatre Advisory Board, working alongside other business and civic leaders to provide strategic advice to the board of directors, executive staff, and other organizational leaders to support the mission of expanding hearts and minds on stage and off. Caroline is on the education subcommittee, which focuses on improving access to the arts education programs for children and teens in Georgia.
When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys checking out playgrounds and taking walks with her husband, young son and dog Mia. She also likes video games - Skyrim and Animal Crossing are favorites - and reading memoirs. Caroline graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication.
