Kena Marubu

In her role as a PR fellow, Kena supports the team's day-to-day media relations work, from drafting press materials and building media lists to compiling client reports.
She received her Bachelor's degree in English Literature with a minor in Communications from Oglethorpe University and earned a certificate in Book and Social Media Publishing from the NYU Summer Institute.
Before joining the team, she began her career at a public relations agency specializing in film, entertainment and consumer brands. Outside of work, Kena enjoys going to the movies with friends, hiking and exploring the city.
