Liana Moran Zabowski
Senior Vice President
In 2014, Liana was an intern at The Wilbert Group driving journalists around Avalon’s construction site, preparing the iconic development for grand opening. Fast forward to today, she helps lead the agency as a senior vice president, while remaining active in day-to-day client work by setting strategy, managing teams and brainstorming story ideas.
Whether it’s a PR plan, media pitch or press release, her favorite part about the job remains the same. “I love writing – the art of stringing words together to make a point, evoke emotion and compel people to care,” she says.
Liana feels particularly proud when a client expands its partnership with Wilbert. She says, “I will always remember when Trademark Property Company’s SVP of Marketing called to request a proposal for their corporate PR program after working together on a notable Atlanta-based project. Our engagement now extends to Trademark’s national portfolio. Growing our relationship with clients is the greatest compliment.”
Liana serves on the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s advisory board, providing support for key initiatives throughout the year. She regularly speaks to PR classes at her alma mater, Georgia Southern, where she graduated from the Honors College and earned a degree in public relations. She has spoken on panels for both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and was recognized as one of PRSA Georgia’s 40 under 40 in 2020.
When not working or volunteering, Liana spends time with her husband and two young daughters. They are regulars at the Atlanta Zoo; her oldest daughter is a particularly big fan of the gorillas.
