Raechel Blitchington

As a vice president, Raechel leads several client teams, while also running a number of initiatives for the firm.

Raechel, who started at Wilbert as an intern in 2018, says her favorite aspect of public relations is creative storytelling. “There is always a news hook for a story – we just have to find it,” she says.

A career highlight was working with Scout Motors in 2023. Hired just two weeks before the announcement of Scout’s first-ever production facility, Raechel and the rest of the Wilbert team jumped into action. They used the newsy moment to share a bigger narrative about Scout reimagining its iconic brand, to garner goodwill in Scout’s new hometown and to build excitement with consumers across the country.

Known for her can-do attitude and work ethic, Raechel joined Wilbert after graduating from the University of Georgia with a major in public relations and a minor in communications. When she is not working, she can be found walking around the Atlanta BeltLine or Piedmont Park with friends and her Aussiedoodle pup Frankie. “Bonus points,” she says,” if the weather is warm and a UGA football game is on!”
